Activities at home

With the schools closed and the UK now on lockdown, it’s extremely important to keep a regular routine that is both physically and mentally stimulating for all the family. At Oxygen, we are doing what we can to help by posting at home hacks, activity sheets and trampoline (or bed) jumping exercise tips. We will post a new sheet every Monday and Thursday, a trampoline tip every Tuesday and much more both here and on our social media channels.

Together we can combat boredom and come out of this stronger than ever!

At Home Hacks

  1. Colours make people happy! Spend the day drawing rainbows, sunshine and trees to stick up on the walls of your home. Then even if the weather doesn’t stay this good you can still look at the drawings and brighten up your day.
  2. Routine is important. Sit down with your kids and help them set their routine, stick to this on weekdays and then on weekends let them have free time as they normally would. If they go to clubs at the weekend like football or gymnastics try and bring a bit of these into your routine. Fun is just as important as learning.
  3. Stay as healthy as you can, as it will boost your immune system. Try your best to still eat your 5 a day and do at least 30 mins of exercise per day. It’s tempting to have a snackcident but try and keep routine in your meal plan as well as activities.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

As you know, the parks are currently closed due to the Coronavirus epidemic. We’re working hard to keep spreading positivity throughout this period and provide you with activities to do during isolation including activity sheets, home hacks and more to keep the kids entertained over on our blog.

This time has truly highlighted our constant appreciation for everyone that works at the NHS and the incredible work they do day in day out, and in a time of national crisis like this, they continue to put their lives on the line. Once this period is over we want to give back to those who have worked so tirelessly throughout, starting with a free family day out for NHS workers. See more here.

Please be assured that we are pro-actively contacting all upcoming bookings to either rearrange their jump or confirm a refund. We have updated our FAQ’s if you need some further information and someone will be available on our online chat throughout the closure period.

We are making our food and beverage stock available to local schools to in turn pass onto families. We are also doing everything we can to support our fantastic teams during this difficult time.

We do not yet know when we will re-open, but we will continue to assess and monitor the situation and we will post updates every week. Thank you for your support during this difficult time and we look forward to getting back to freejumping.
